Review of Tything Barn
I have been a holiday maker at Tything Barn for many many years. It’s a perfect escape back to nature. In all of the years I have been coming thankfully it has not been spoilt by commercialism. It’s got the basic requirements that anybody would need.
I wouldn’t expect, need or want the facilities to be any different.
The grounds are vast and beautifully kept by the fabulous current managers Dan and Fran. Who take a pride in its up-keeping and aim to make time spent here very special.
Dan and Fran go out of their way to help anyone at any time.
I have seen others leave negative reviews about Tything Barn but my personal experience has always been very positive.
Over the years I have seen lots of change in management and style and Dan and Fran are ideally suited to run this wonderful place.
There is no where else like it.
I come back year after year for the perfect break.
If you are looking for bars, entertainment and an on site shop this is not the place for you.
If you want to be at one with nature, swim in the lagoons and the estuary, kayak on the Cleddau, be able to freely walk around in what ever you want to wear or not wear. If you like peace and quiet and enjoy meeting other like minded people then this IS the place for you.
Since Dan and Fran have been managing Tything Barn they have all of the necessary safeguards in place to ensure they know who is on site at any time. I have never felt unsafe with these safe guards in place.
All I can say is come with an open mind, experience the place for yourself and make your own mind up.
Its location is ideally situated for visiting many of the special beaches and other attractions in and around Pembrokeshire.
I can personally highly recommend Tything Barn.

Easy to order as always but on this occasion the delivery was a day late. Even though I had received an email stating the Birthday card had been delivered on time - but it had not been delivered. It was a day late!

Got my order wrong but replied to my email straight away to rectify the wrong item they had sent me. It took from my delivery last Friday until today Tuesday to receive the correct item. I had expected it to have been sooner as it was a packing mistake. It was needed for a project for the Sunday so it delayed and inconvenienced me. Anyway the order has been corrected so Thank you. But for this reason I felt I could only give a 3* review.

My delivery driver is honestly just brilliant. However I fear the company will lose him because his work load keeps increasing.
Management need to look at the damage this is doing. If you don’t look after your staff - you will lose the good ones - please please don’t lose my driver - he is the best. He is the reason why my Yodel experiences are always 5* he is the best asset your company has. He always goes above and beyond and is so committed to ensuring his Yodel deliveries are first class.
Cannot fault his deliveries- every time he never disappoints.
