Prompt service from garage and met timescales for MOT test.

I have left my car for an MOT around 8:30 am on the day of the booking, a man told me my car would be done by late afternoon , unfortunately they called me on the NEXT morning .
They kept my car for 24 hrs for an MOT , if you ever want to drop off your car in this garage for an MOT , get ready to wait at least 24 hrs , it would be understandable if something needs to be fixed, otherwise 24 hrs is too long time for an MOT .They are too busy and keep taking more and more bookings …

Booked with the AA for a MOT and what a wonderful straightforward process, selected my preferred date/time and received confirmation the next day. Great communication from the AA right up to the date of the MOT. My Husband always dealt with MOT's before and this was my 1st time in arranging one and I found this service via the AA to be really easy and not stressful.

This was the 1st time using this car garage so was not sure what to expect, but my fears were very short lived as from the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and looked after. During the MOT I waited in the waiting room and could see my car being inspected through the viewing window which was an experience as never seen it done before. Both the garage/waiting room & showroom were really clean. I felt that all the staff were very friendly and loved that the company was family owned. Car passed and MOT was successfully done.

Never used this service before but will be recommending to all as I couldn't find fault with it or the garage chosen and will be booking my service once it's due.

Absolutely no way to get hold of smartcare via phone once MOT done. They stopped communicating. Had to sort out myself directly with garage.

Can’t help but get the feeling I was ripped off. Spent the entire day waiting with a massive bill at the end. Nothing seemed wrong with my van when I put it in for an MOT /Oil + filter change so the work ‘needed’ and the bill was a shock. Whilst waiting I bumped into another customer who had arrived to pick up his car. He was told his car would need further work and he said to me “They’re 100% trying to rip me off”. Tbh this is a common suspicion most motorists have with garages in general but unfortunately this garage(in Wokingham) didn’t buck the trend.

My car was supposed to be collected between 08.00 and 11.00, it was collected at 11.45 which meant I missed an appointment. A message from AA said the garage could only do an MOT, not an additional service which I also needed, but I was charged for a service as well with no paperwork to show what had been done. Won’t be using again.

Just written to commisioner of police about there parts and garage communications and attitude of staff against someone who is hear vunerable.

Waiting 2 weeks car be repaired no fault of garage but incompetence of AA.

Carried out MOT and service with one of their approved garages. Picked up car and return it. Reasonable price. Will use again.

AA is a brilliant service. Breakdown service very helpful compared to RAC. Service and MOT fast and effective. Love these guys 👌🏻

Booked MOT via AA Smart care believing the advised single contact booking then received telephone call from garage because the AA had booked multiple vehicles at that time so had to rebook. Then day before appointment Smart care cancelled the booking so then had to contact both the garage & the AA to make sure the work would be done.
After work AA sent email stating I would be contacted to leave a review. of course this never happened.

I booked a service for 8/10 which got cancelled and rescheduled to 15/10. No one turned up and on calling they said that they “had problems with payment from the credit card”. Utter nonsense as I had a valid card. I have now wasted a day waiting for their mechanic who did not turn up.

The service and MOT process went smoothly , the booking process was easy and altogether a great improvement on my experience of the whole process at another garage in previous years! Thankyou.

I dropped my car off with time to spare. I had a bit of a walk to find coffee. I think I had to wait almost two hours but the staff were friendly. Thank you.
