Best Casual Solution
I have been using premium for 3 months and have had no issues. In my opinion it is the best current option for email encryption if you don't want to get bogged down. However, the fact that the majority of your emails will not be encrypted, because they are sent to non-Tutanota users; unless you want to use their passwording of emails to non-Tutanota users, which is not practical.
There is also no facility to search emails.
