Please stay away! Same story as another customer… ordered plates on 26th Aug. Chased and chased them regarding progress and was always given an excuse. On Monday 20th Nov cancelled the order and asked for a refund. Got a call today to say systems are down and they can’t do the refund. They advised I ring the bank and ask for a bank payback! Well the Halifax just laughed at me! So I will be proceeding to get my £366 from this awful company… whatever it takes

24th November today…. Still no refund, paid for the plate with another company and it’s on a retention cert in my name!

Please avoid this company sold my plate and I’m still waiting for payment 8 months later kept blaming DVLA for delays in paperwork now the system for payment is down along with the phone lines which conveniently failed on the very day payment was due

Ordered a number plate on 9th of November. Got a phone call on the 17th saying that number plate had been sold. Was an error in communication with DVLA. Was told I would get a refund in 7-14 working days.

Had a phone call today informing me that the refund systems were down and that I need to get my refund via my bank and not these guys.

Do yourselves a favour and avoid this company seems like it’s run by fraudulent amateurs. No number plate and no refund.

The business spends more time and effort coming out with excuses then they actually spend securing number plates.

Ordered plates 16th September. Chased on the 30th October told would be getting paper work by the Friday that week, 16th November requested a refund and promised 7 day refund. Now just got a call (22nd November) to tell me systems down since this morning so ask bank for charge back! Criminals!

A very professional company with knowledgeable, competent and proactive staff. They make buying a private plate extremely easy!! Would have no hesitation in using them again.

Ordered a number plate back in September, never received any documents to transfer to car. Eventually found another company, requested refund. Been lied to various times about receiving it on different dates. Now telling me to use the chargeback from bank! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS

plates ordered for my mums 60th birthday 2 months later still waiting no response no offer of refund, awaiting advise to proceed with legal action.

I'd strongly recommend against using Click4Reg to buy or sell a licence plate. Like so many others, in my case there was a delay of over 5 months between Click4Reg receiving the money from the purchaser of my plate to Click4Reg sending me this money. The delay was initially blamed on a backlog at the DVLA, but the DVLA told me that there is no backlog. Later, the failure to honour two payment promises was put down to IT problems. The failure to make payments when they are promised is extremely annoying.

I hope the Trading Standards Office will look into the various complaints customers have made and also that Trust Pilot will investigate whether the 5 star reviews are genuine, bearing in mind that there have been 71 1 star reviews over the last 12 months, of which 51 have been removed (probably on the grounds that these reviews would harm Click4Reg's reputation!). How likely is it that there as so many delighted customers, some of whom have posted more than one review about the company, when there are so many very dissatisfied customers?

4 months in and no plate or refund. Latest conversation today “I will update you between 4pm and 5pm” no call or email.

Either they have cash problems and can’t action the refund or incompetence in the accounts department!?

In all my years personally and in business I have never dealt with a company like it.

I’ve ended up buying the same Reg from the DVLA who managed to turn around the whole process including my new log book in 8 days.

I’ve gone legal with it now, they have had enough chances and time to resolve.

Great company to deal with they kept me informed throughout the process of purchasing and the transfer. Very fast and friendly service I would certainly use them again. Thanks to the team for a great experience.

I paid for a plate for my wife for a present on 23.10 23 a week later was given some excuse it’s not for sale , I gave them other ideas for another plate but asked for a refund which I paid in full first phone call a refund will be paid in 7 working days , second call 5 days 3rd call we are looking into it
So then I said you are taping me so I’m taping you , I threatened legal action and a visit from the bailiffs and myself at there main office
Today 15 November 23 I was paid in full
The company is a joke steer clear
I bought a private reg for another company within a week

Purchased the plate SH21NNA on 25th october. They took the money instantly. I received documentation and proof of purchase through email and via letter at my address. I sent them my V5 as requested. A week later I received the acrylic plates at my Address which I also requested upon purchase. I received a voicemail stating from JADE just an update that everything has gone through we have received your V5 and just waiting on DVLA to send your certificate and we are good to go. I then received a voicemail today on 15th November asking if I can call them back. When I got through to someone they said there was an ERROR and that DVLA had said someone had already purchased this plate beforehand. If that was the case it should be assigned to someone's vehicle? Why was it still on the Website? Funny how when I purchased this plate by the next morning I couldn't find it anywhere as I was concerned of the someone else purchasing this. I've contacted DVLA myself they have had many issues with click4reg and I am also taking this to trading standards as looking on these reviews I haven't been the only victim. The fact that you still have my v5 in your office as stated is a joke. She said do you want a few days to browse an alternative plate if you change your mind? Am I insane? I think not. Its clear what's happened someone offered more and so you have chose to retract it and blame DVLA. Avoid at all cause.

The company kept me informed what was happening and how long it would take for the process. All staff were very helpful. Thanks for your time.

Ordered a number plate on the 13th of October and the email said I would receive the retention certificate within 14 working days. It’s not been 22 working days and after chasing up on multiple occasions, I’m still no further with receiving the certificate to change my number plate! After a nightmare with payment because their system wasn’t working, I am now having to chase up again to find out what’s going on. I would avoid this company if you actually want your number plate!

UPDATE: submitted a complaint, said I would hear back within 24 hours-that was on the 14th of November. Tried to call all last week and this week and their phone lines are apparently down for maintenance. I don’t feel like I will ever receive the number plate I paid for and it’s extremely frustrating.

I purchased a reg on the 25th of august and still to this day have not received it or my money back. I have contacted them 5 times now to which I get the same answer each time. I also get told I would receive a call back each time which I have not received. DO NOT BUY A REG FROM THIS COMPANY. !!!

PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Even the DVLA will tel you how shocking they are. Took money from me back in September told me number plate would take 6 weeks max. I phone the dvla to chase up last week and the company hadn’t even sent any information over, just took my money plus money for them the deal with it. DVLA said they are known for this. Still trying to get a refund now. PLEASE AVOID. Scammers. I have reported them to the bank and trading standard whom they all well known too.
