THESE PEOPLE ARE ROBBING YOU. DO NOT SIGN A THING THEY SEND. They make all types of excuses, blaming the DVLA and then awaiting a bank transfer date. The phones are apparently down for maintenance... See more

FRAUDSTERS
I feel terribly sorry for those who have come into contact with Click4Reg.
Unfortunate for you, they contacted to buy my number plate. I have sold to them in the past and I can confirm they paid out. I was sceptical this time round due to the most recent reviews and people crying out for their payment.
Now if you haven’t done your research, I will point out a few facts for you which will make you stay clear and most importantly please take legal action against the said director!! If you are a lay person contact CAB, they may inform you further.
The director of Click4Reg. A multi business owner who seems to fail at all aspects of running business, bar scamming and ripping people off. His wife, living a fake lavish lifestyle whilst failing at all angles to pay debtors and creditors. Driving top of the range Porsche and historically Range Rover, yet allowing contact centre staff to pathologically lie through their teeth.
Companies House is free…
The owner was appointed as director on 27.05.2015
Since.. he has filed a cessation of accounts dating back to 2016. This is a term when a business attempts to shut down their accounts and no longer wants to financially operate. As long as you have kept up to date with PAYE and VAT payments the only creditor likely to be owed by your company after you have ceased to trade is the Corporation Tax due on the profits for your last trading period as shown in your cessation accounts.
Section 1004 and 1005 of the Companies Act 2006, states that a company cannot make an application for voluntary strike off if, in the last 3 months, it has:
- Traded or otherwise carried on business
- Changed its name
- Made disposal of property or rights that, immediately before ceasing to trade or otherwise carry on business, it held for the purpose of disposal for gain in the normal course of trading or otherwise carrying on business.
The Cessation was added to filing history in May 2023.
Since on 29.08.203 he has made a change details. This is because he has withdrawn as a PSC. He has now appointed his subsidiary company (find name on companies house) in an attempt most likely to file for Voluntary Strike off. In 2020 he received his first notice to be struck off under his subsidiary company, most likely due to non compliance of legal requirements, i.e. non payment of tax, non submission of accounts or failing to inform of a new/updated address.
If you want the courtesy of visiting his dire restaurant or cinema, most likely another of his failing businesses, feel free. It is located in Sussex and called The Sussex Exchange. In a local gazette, he was branded an entrepreneur, but I do believe they meant 'scammer'.
If you want further advice I would consider contacting an accountant to seek advice on payments owing when a director has filed for cessation of accounts/changed ownership of PSC.
Once again, sorry to those who have fallen victim to such a heartless scammer. That’s how some people live, no shame of ripping people off. His justice will be served. Those who have explained that you have contacted the police, this would not amount to anything unfortunately as they will put it down to a civil matter, albeit it does amount to fraud.
His wife at Click4Reg, contacted me the other week and I said “I’ve heard you’re in financial difficulty and the business is closing down”, she said “I can categorically reassure you it isn’t”. She also informed that they changed service providers (bank account), yet others state in their reviews they were notified the company bank accounts had been hacked. Neither are true. How some people will lie for small amounts of money, is amusing. The lady you all refer to in reviews is the director's wife. I assume the other staff members are closely related somewhat to continue to also deceive.
All for nothing
I have only given this shambolic company one star because there is no option to give it none.
I purchased a registration in early May 2023 and, after almost four months and umpteen explanations that it was due to a DVLA backlog, I never received it - although I purchased another registration from another company on the same day, which arrived one week later.
On August 7, because it was impossible to contact them by telephone and I simply didn't trust them any more, I requested a refund and was told 'because of systems being changed', it would take 14 days - and still no apology for their failure to send my registration.
One month later I am told by customer services that the accounts department 'hasn't sent them anything yet' - but they will let me know as soon as they do!
There is no sense of urgency with this company, no proactivity, no customer loyalty, and certainly no guilt when they abjectly fail to deliver on their promises. I suppose 'when it works, it works' but it seems from some of the other reviews that, far too often, it doesn't work and instead of a shiny new registration, you will be left facing a brick wall of broken promises and complete indifference. Avoid.
So here we are on September 20. Still no refund, still no apology or explanation, and they can’t send me the registration because I bought it from another company three weeks ago - for less than this lot charged back in May - and it arrived within a week! Be warned!
Following my review I received my refund, in full, on September 20. Also received a call from Vanessa giving a whole catalogue of explanations why everything has been going wrong in recent months due to computer issues and change of credit card company, and apologising for the delay in getting my money back to me. 'Still no apology or explanation for the lies and false hope I'd been given over the previous four months. I appreciated her honesty in explaining the issues they have been facing, but 'still don't feel I was ever valued as a customer.
Great communication and simple process…
Great communication and simple process throughout!
do not use
sold me plate to them more than 6 months ago , tehy still have not sent me the money.
they just respond saying DVLA backlog etc
do not use this company, many other better ones available
Avoid
I would not recommend using this company at all. I made a payment on 13th August for a registration advertised on their site but was told on the 18th August that the plate was not available and that it would take 7 working days to process my refund. Firstly, why does this company enter into a purchase agreement and take my money when they don't actually own the registration in question?
Secondly why does it take 7 working days to process a credit card refund? I am told my money will be returned by the 30th August which means that Click4Reg have held nearly £2000 for over two weeks!!!
If my funds are not returned by the 30th then I will report this as a fraudulent transaction and obtain a refund from the card company.
There are much better companies out there who check availability of the registration before taking your money.
I have learnt my lesson and will not be using Click4Reg again.
All the excuses, no money from sale
Sold my plate over 6 months ago and it was transferred onto another vehicle. Countless calls, emails and a similar pattern of excuses all result in no money received. Had this plate for 30 years and was a gift from my mum on my 18th birthday. It hurt me to have to sell it. Hurts even more now. Will be pursuing all those involved now legally and I am very motivated not to stop until I see a result. So much so I will now put money and time into the pursuit.
Very good
Very good. Just would have been easier if it was checked the person selling had their documentation before the plate was advertised. It took over a month for my documents to arrive for purchasing the plate.
So now they've confirmed dvla have…
So now they've confirmed dvla have confirmed the transfer I asked about payment now I've gone on a list to be contacted for payment

Just a warning for anybody selling…
Just a warning for anybody selling their number plate. Sold mine through this company 1 YEAR ago and still NOT RECEIVED the money. So be warned you may not get the proceeds if you sell through them.
Amazing
Amazing, paid less than half what other sites were charging. If you want a really good deal these guys are well worth a try.

Was kept updated of unforseen delays that was not within Click4Reg control but came to a successful conclusion. Big thanks to all the team
Please avoid this company at all cost
Please avoid this company at all cost, I purchased a private reg in April this year and we’re now in the end of July and still haven’t received anything. I was advised in April we would have the reg with in 14 days what a joke, I’ve contacted the company numerous times to be given the same answer they’re waiting on the DVLA all lies. £350 it cost me and we’re still waiting on a refund. Do not use this service if only I’d of looked at the reviews first it seems this happens a lot.
Quick and easy
They dealt with everything from start to finish.
Very happy with the service provided
Would recommend.
