Awful service when purchasing a new plate. Ordered 6 weeks ago and still received no paperwork. Called for a second time and was told they would send out more documents to my address first class, which I never received. Would not recommend to anyone to use this site.

I recently purchased my first personal number plate- from Click4Reg.
From first contact with them, till my final purchase the company kept me informed of the progress, helping me with the negotiations, The ladies on the phone were always helpful and professional.
I would recommend the company, and would certainly use them again.

This company has been upfront and honest from the start, from when I sold them my plate they explained it would be 6-10 weeks until everything would be sorted with the DVLA transfer, they called me today and said my money has been transferred into my bank account and if i can confirm to which I did and the funds were in, hand on my heart I cannot fault there service and they have explained everything from start to finish and kept me informed on a regular basis, I also own a museum and if anyone wants to see it or have my contact details to confirm about what I have written then please google Kidderminster carer opens war museum and you will see everything i do, thanks again click4reg and I’ll always recommend you

*updated* - I accepted an offer on my private plate on 22/11/2022. Paperwork was all sent back at the beginning of December. Looking online, my plate has been on another car since 22/12/2022. I finally had an email on 22/06/2023 to say the DVLA had confirmed completion of the registration and that their accounts team would release payment on the 6th July 2023 which I never received. I was then told payment would be the 14th July but again nothing came through. I was then told I’d be paid on 27th July but again nothing. The office manager Vanessa then called me to explain some internal issues they were having which would explain the delay. She advised once sorted she would call me to confirm a payment date and they would make a compensation payment to me too. True to her word, she called me 2 weeks later and confirmed I would definitely be paid the sale monies on 22nd Aug plus a compensation payment. All money was received on this date and Vanessa ensured she made contact with me that day to confirm receipt.

Although payment took a while, I can not fault the ladies that work there. Millie, Dekota and Vanessa are all pleasant to deal with and provide excellent customer service and I have always had responses to emails I have sent them and call backs with updates when promised.

I have been dealing with this company from the 18/04/2023.Registration number N8 WAT which was on retention under my name Brian Anderson . I was offered £900.
I have given them too much time and I have been too trusting as yesterday when I spoke to a lady she said that she has spent some time trying to contact the DVLA but with no luck, I phoned the DVLA today and I was informed that N8 WAT is now registered on a vehicle . So either they are slow in paying out or lying . I have given them to Friday to pay the funds into my account or as I have taken steps today to warn the rest to be aware of their practices.
I will gladly update this review if my funds are paid by Friday if not I will hunt them down and find the person responsible for a possible fraud.Today 5th of July my £900 has been sent by Bank Transfer but only after a long battle with them and threatening legal battles and informing the police of suspected fraud . I am just glad it's over and I got my money , but a warning to others .

Expect to wait much longer than what they advise. There were problems and delays at every step of the process. Genuinely felt they were trying to hold on to the money they had from selling my private plate for as long as possible.
The only saving grace is the polite customer service. However, no polite and friendly advisor on the phone will ever excuse almost 4 months of waiting for payment since I sent off my private plate documents to them.

Everything went perfectly and very quickly.

Effective and friendly. Everything completed in a timely manner.

Millie was very helpful. I had lost my documents and she assisted me with getting replacement documents. This caused a bit of a delay but the buyer was understanding and the sale still went ahead. I have received my payment and my new log book back from the Dvla.

I have used Click4reg to sell a couple of registrations now and have also used them to buy a registration. I have experienced a slight delay with one of the sales but having used other companies this is quite normal at the end of the day they work with the Dvla and everyone knows they are a nightmare to deal with. Something so simple like replacing a logbook takes weeks with the Dvla. Every time I have emailed or called I have received a response quickly and the team are very polite. Keep going guys you are doing amazing!

brought a private plate from click4reg on finance everything ran smoothly. I had to wait for my new V5c to arrive from the Dvla as I had just brought a new car. Dakota helped me transfer the registration on to my new car and I love it. I’ll be back to buy another soon for my partner

UPDATE 29/6/23

I have now received the money owed to me, better late than never. You do need to keep chasing but I am grateful I did eventually receive my money.

The process has now taken us into the 17th week, I was told when the process first started that it would take 6-10 weeks. I phoned 2 weeks ago and was told that I would expect my payment of £400 to reach my bank account on Monday 12 June, I still have not received anything.

I have sent numerous emails over the last few weeks chasing and chasing. I do not get a satisfactory answer as to what the delay is.

I tried to call the phone lines today to be told they are closed. Why has there been no communication from yourselves regarding any delayed payments.

Absolute sham of a company, I will be seeking legal advice!!!

UPDATE 14/6/23

My number plate has now been assigned to another vehicle which means they have sold my plate but still I haven’t received money from them. They have told me due to their systems being down that I will receive payment on 12 June, yet another week after I was meant to receive it.

Not holding up much hope that I will ever see my money!!!

13/06 - 0 if I can, paid for a reg almost 3 weeks ago and the reg is still available on DVLA for sale. Claiming to have technical difficulties with system, phone and the only difficulty is their business practice. Checking how to report them to trading standards. Will soon be reporting them

@Click4Reg - I am not reviewing just that you would speed up and complete your sale process, but to prevent others by being affected by your shady/fraud business activity

PS - suggestion from my 13yr old - Ask them to change the company name to Click4Scam. Can't blame him

Edit 1 14/06 - Update - The reg I paid for via the website was listed on DVLA website for sale until this morning and now has been taken off the site. This means that the reg has been bought by someone else. Now let's see what Click4Reg can do to honour their sale and transfer the reg to my name

Edit 2 15/06 - After repeated claims of system not working or phone lines down for maintenance and since the reg has been taken off DVLA (bought by someone else in my household, but not nominated to me), they agreed to refund the money paid. A 10 quid goodwill offered was rejected by me, as I am here for the REG and not money. I still do not believe, that their system or telephone line was down, but just an excuse. They could have bought the licence of DVLA the day or atleast the day after the transaction on their website. Also, why are there same complaints about telephone lines and system fault, from long ago as well. They even claimed that they sent 1st class postage - not arrived, asked again and said they are sending one out. All this while the the REG was still un allocated and available on sale via DVLA.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - plate sold early this year. Broken promises of DVLA hold ups and then we only pay out a couple of times of month. Finally got told i was being paid and now the payment is being held up for what they call a bank fraud check. Yes click4reg and Vanessa I will keep writing review until i get paid !! Sellers be warned and from reading reviews buyers be warned as well .
