Evaluating 34 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people experienced significant delivery delays, with parcels taking weeks instead of days, even domestically, often lacking status updates. Worst consumer experience ever

Worst consumer experience ever! Checked the status of my parcel that I was trying to send a Christmas gift to a friend in SG and it showed failed attempt delivery. Proceeded to connect with POS Malaysia support team and the reply I got from the support agent was surprising. Asking me to get the recipient(which is my friend) to check with the local courier, SingPost as they have handed over the parcel for delivery without providing ANY form of reference number. All of this process was disclose by the agent which shocked me as to why do i need to know all of this and the parcel was passed on without my consent. Without a proper solution Im left hanging, wonder what has happened to my parcel which was sent weeks ago so that it will arrive before Christmas. Should gone with other 3PL which I would not have such headache. No wonder POS Malaysia is loosing its competitive edge compared to the other 3PL providers out there.

Worst place to have international mail routed via. They are so slow to do anything. Their customer service is a disgrace. Their website lacks basic information about the current state / location of a parcel. The UX of their site is confusing. Wish I had known ahead of time that the seller would ship via a terrible service.

Absolutely awful and consistently so

Absolutely awful and consistently so. I first travelled to Malaysia in 1978. Since then, I know no Malaysian or non-Malaysian who considers the Malaysian postal service anything other than incompetent and corrupt. It is virtually impossible to send packages from abroad and it has been ever since first visiting Malaysia

The delivery should be on 10/10 for an order that is being shipped on 7/10. It took 3 days just to be held hostage at the Pos Malaysia Banting for another 3 days. When making a report, it stated to wait for another 3 days to receive a report, then what? another month for it to be delivered. I paid almost RM30 for delivery, which is very high compared to the price offered when buying in shopee which usually ranged about RM5 to RM15 only. The only reason they could say is that it is in "processing status," which has been like that since 10/10 7.21a.m.

Two similar incidents of the Pos Laju rider delivering the parcel to the wrong house, and ignoring the messages. He had the correct address (based on the pre-delivery message), but he still delivered it to the wrong house. Pos laju customer service filed a report, but no updates yet.

Always fail to deliver

Kept delaying , showing out for delivery in the morning then fail to delivery at the end of the day. And the next day, the same happened, showing out for delivery and fail to attempt the delivery again, I waited at home for whole day just to receive the system update showing it won’t deliver at the end of the day

Among so many courier services Pos Malaysia is the the worst that I met with! Bought clothing from seller in West Malaysia and she suggested to me using sea shipping Pos Malaysia and the service is fast which takes only few days will reach! I agreed as I never use before and have a try! Seller posted items on 14th July and when track my parcel the system only updated once on 19th July till now! When called customer service was told the items still awaiting shipment! Just imagine shipping takes so long from West Malaysia to East Malaysia! Till today the system shows no more updated and I still haven't received my parcel! This will my first and last using Pos Malaysia!

No refund, no contact, no accountability

I sent a parcel internationally with Pos Malaysia in February 2025. It was returned due to a battery inside - which I completely understand. However, the real problem was the lack of basic service or responsibility:

Despite providing full contact details and a return address, I was never notified that the parcel had failed to deliver or been returned. Instead, it was quietly sent to the “Death Letter Office” and all my details were deleted from their system.

I only discovered what happened months later after initiating a live chat - which was another frustrating experience. The communication was poor, unclear, and I had to repeat myself constantly. I asked several times for an email address to lodge a formal complaint, only to be told that Pos Malaysia does not accept emails and has no monitored inbox. There is no complaint procedure. This is shocking for a national postal service.

In the end, I paid 265 MYR for a service that was never completed. No refund. No proper apology. Just excuses and dead ends.

Deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

Tracking stuck for a month and poor customer support

I placed an order on AliExpress, and Post Malaysia was assigned as the carrier for my package (tracking number: LP651723962MY). The last tracking update on your system is from May 16, 2025, and today is June 16 — a full month has passed with no new information. This delay is completely unacceptable.

I contacted Post Malaysia’s customer service via live chat, hoping for clarification. However, the assistant simply told me to contact the postal service in my country (Angola) and offered no further help. No effort was made to check internally for the actual status of my package. This kind of response is unprofessional and unacceptable for an international logistics provider.

As the main carrier responsible for the international leg of the shipment, Post Malaysia must provide accurate, updated tracking information and remain accountable until the package is delivered or officially handed over. Shifting the responsibility without verifying the facts reflects a serious lack of transparency and commitment to customers.

It is deeply frustrating that:

Tracking has not been updated in over 30 days;

Customer support provides generic and unhelpful responses;

There’s no real way to get support as an international customer.

This experience has damaged my trust in Post Malaysia. I expected better communication, accountability, and professionalism.
