The '5-1' should be called the '0-1' as it arrived faulty and was terrible quality. The website and social media ads are full of lies and the box it came in was even a completely different company to Borelia. Their dodgy rebrand as 'Magic Curl' says it all as well!

Customer Services keep saying they are waiting on logistics to reply... for five weeks. Definite lies!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND EVER!!!! We are reporting them to Shopify, Instagram, here and anywhere else we can!

Do not buy. Not received product and judging by other reviews it was a rubbish. Nobody in customer service will reply to sort a refund.

There were no reviews when I purchased it but I found them.before it was delivered.
I haven't opened it(as per their refund policy) and still no communication. I'm happy to lose money sending it back but absolutely nothing from the company.
New name of magic curl too.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Product lasted less than a month and was used less than 10 times before cutting out completely and overheating! No reply from their “support “ email when asking how to return and get a refund.
I wish I’d seen reviews here before purchasing, I can only conclude they are a complete scam and waste of money. Do not buy this product.

Beware……scammers

Avoid, this is a scam. Company now set up as Magic Curl doing the same thing! Will take your money and send you cheap dangerous products which they wont refund you for. I have reported but hoping others dont get taken for a ride.

Awful, website complete lies says 4.5 on trustpilot which I naively believed. Surely it is illegal to lie like that.
Product is cheap, dangerously overheats and I have been refused a refund because I opened the product. Selling this dangerous rubbish must be stopped.

Horrendous. Awful quality hair styler, cheap plastic. Reviews must be fake. Contacted customer service who are not providing me a return address, or being at all helpful, despite the 100% satisfaction guaranteed on the website. If i could score zero stars i would. DO NOT BUY from this website.

My parcel was delivered to persons unknown. I can't get the company to help me at all. But in a way after reading all the reviews about the product I am glad it hasn't been delivered I will now try and go about retrieving my money probably with no success. Its a shame you can't give minus reviews as I'm sure this would be top of the list.

Wish I'd seen these reviews before I purchased this product! Obviously fake reviews on their website. Company claiming to be in London. Customer service email on website isn't valid. Emailed support due to burning smell when using and general poor quality of product. Videos on website, insta and fb all fake. This product does not curl your hair and overheats. I don't know how companies like this get away with it. Should be shut down! 😡

BORRELIA-LONDON.Well what a nightmare taking to long to arrive I thought I'd looked into them only to find it doesant come from London but China.Emailed them about this no anser came across the Trust Pilot reviews wished I'd seen them before hand Got in touch with PayPal giving them all the information I had .There anser to China was it was not illegal where it originally came from more emails and no anser from them .Eventually got my Hair Styler and for them to say the next best thing to Dyson is unbelievable. It is the most useless piece of crap. Still have a Complaint pending with PayPal but can't see them taking on board all the reviews on here I told them they need to see these reviews and as far as I'm concerned they're aiding this Company by Allowing th use there Service.I will be wary of using PayPal as with all their new changes I don't think there gonna be for helping people like ourselves.

Rubbish product. After reading reviews, I am glad I’m not alone. Hair caught in vents, it does not wrap your hair as advertised. Smoked through overheating and set my smoke detector off. Company refuse to refund as I have opened the product!! How else was I supposed to try it! Have raised a complain t with company I paid though, but not holding my breathe to get my £50 back 😟 Do Not buy- scammers

As with many other people I was very disappointed with the item that eventually arrived, and I will have to really heed the old adage that you get what you pay for! However, this wasn't exactly cheap, in that it was roughly £60, which is similar to a lot of hair styling electricals. I did some research, watched a few you tube videos etc etc, but this is all just a scam. It's a shame that the authentic brands are so ridiculously expensive because it just opens the door to companies like this! They have now renamed themselves as "Bore" so be aware. I tried replying to one of their many emails to complain but that bounced right back, of course.
Let's hope they're stopped soon.

A multitude of disappointment for the delivery, the quality and the customer service. The hairdryer to four weeks to get to me, the box looked like it had been open before and the product was useless. The feel of the product was cheep and the button felt as if it had too much movement, like it would break if you pressed it too hard. I emailed them to return the product which in itself was difficult to find the information, only to be told because I had used it, I could not return it and this information was in their terms and condition. I have never not been able to return a product. The hairdryer was not what any good and I thought we had rights as a consumer to return.

I ordered the '5 in 1 styler' early October. It took some time but finally arrived 3 weeks later. On my 2nd use of the styler, the on/off button jammed so I contacted customer services and this is where the saga continues. 8/11/23 I was offered an exchange with no details how to but I requested my money back as the website states! I have repeatedly emailed, sent photos & videos but NOTHING. Do not believe the website that claims 'satisfied or money back'. I have learnt my lesson.

Emailed company to say I would like a refund as its faulty and very poor quality.
The reply. Because you've opens it we cannot accept the return item so no refund.
I have asked how would I know it's faulty until I've used it.

Useless product and now being messed around by their ‘customer services’ in trying to get a refund. Like others, wish I had read these reviews first.

Do NOT give these people your money! They’re scammers, I never even received the product which after reading this, fully intend on returning! They do not answer emails and one of the email addresses even bounces back as unknown email address!

Fake company. Delivery was made from China and took 4 weeks ( I paid for express delivery that should have been 3-5 days). Products are very very poor quality. When I asked for a refund, I was straight out ignored and have never received a response (I have emailed almost every day since I received the item).

I’d avoid at all costs and it’s disappointing to read everyone has experienced the same thing.
