Excellent service from Steve at Romford branch.

I recently approached Richer Sounds in Bath looking for advice on putting together a new hi-fi system with a budget of around £1,000.

From my very first enquiry, Tom was excellent. Rather than simply trying to sell me what I’d initially asked for, he took the time to understand how I actually listen to music and recommended concentrating my budget on a quality amplifier and speakers, leaving the turntable as a future addition.

He arranged a demonstration, gave me the opportunity to listen to different options and, most importantly, there was absolutely no pressure to buy. It felt like getting advice from someone who genuinely enjoys hi-fi and wanted me to leave with the right system.

I eventually chose the Marantz PM7000N with Acoustic Energy AE100² speakers, and having now spent some time listening to them at home, they’re delivering exactly what they promised in the demonstration. I’m absolutely delighted with the system.

Tom even followed up after delivery to make sure everything had arrived safely and to see how I was getting on with it — a small gesture perhaps, but one that says a great deal about the level of customer service.

Knowledgeable, patient, friendly and genuinely interested in getting things right for the customer. First-class service from beginning to end.

Five stars from me, and Richer Sounds Bath will absolutely be my first port of call when it’s time to add to the system.

Called in to buy a lead to connect my turntable to my Technics Streamer/CD and some decent speaker cable and the guys were extremely knowledgeable & helpful.

Excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful with setup - this is the reason why you should visit a shop rather than buy online!

Great service as always. Questions answered quickly and honestly by a "real" knowledgeable human being, very fast tracked delivery (if needed) with one hour delivery window. Excellent value. Easy telephone access to speak directly to a sales person. If only all companies could be like this - forget AI, Richer Sounds is definitely "A One".

Everything went through very easily and product was delivered on time although when informed by DPD items were going to be delivered at a specified time I did inform them that I wasn't at home and could it be delivered next day and they confirmed this but items were still delivered the same day and was left with a neighbour. I appreciate this was nothing to do with Richer Sounds but otherwise all was good.
