I had always bought from Richer Sounds on the basis they were light years ahead of competition in terms of customer service.
They always felt like a sensible business with sensible policies - rather than the computer says no in the face of common sense approach a lot of big companies operate within.
I recently bought a tv and sound bar and decided to use their 0% finance offer. Just be aware that their price promise doesn’t apply if you select finance - which is a bit disappointing.
Given it’s heavily advertised as a USP or the brand I was surprised too. I’m sure it’s written somewhere but it wasn’t obvious to me this would be the case.
It meant I ended up paying +£££ more for an item, which now makes me just think I should have bought from one of their competitors after all.
Staff were nice about it.
Friendly helpful staff. This is difficult because I know they can’t stock everything. Wanted an internet/DAB radio, had to order one and have it delivered to home to try, with the option to return/exchange it if I wasn’t happy. There were a couple of units I would have liked to compare but that wasn’t an option in store. As it happens I was happy with my first choice, so happy days.

The whole experience from walking in the shop to buying is superb. I wouldn't buy a TV or hi fi from anywhere else. I have bought many things from Richer Sounds over the years. They speak the same language and if you don't understand the jargon and complex world of OLED/QLED they will clearly explain things. Help with listening to the whole package and time spent on the customer experience is outstanding. They are not pushy and prices are great. Thanks Harry and all the team at Leeds. As well as Phil for fitting my last system.

I've been buying hi-fi, TVs etc from Richer Sounds since the late 70's, You deal with professionals, always get great advice, the best prices and a 6 warranty you won't find anywhere else. If you have a problem they'll quickly sort it. 10/10.

A good price and delivery timescales acceptable. Ordered on the Sunday and delivered on the Thursday.
Advised continuously as order was readied for delivery and order tracking was good.
Only issue was that the delivery was an hour and three quarters from when got the call to suggest they would be 30-60 minutes. If they had issues then a further call to say a slight delay would have been grateful, although delivery was within the 3 hour window originally advised. I had arranged to pick daughter up after the hour and luckily my wife was in to take delivery.
Really helpful when deciding on what to buy. Gave a good deal and was delivered very quickly.

My phone call was quickly rewarded with a human voice in my local store who listened to my needs, checked stock and made sure that I had the necessary cables and stands. Local stock was not available so I was made aware of my collection or delivery options. The items arrived earlier than expected. No fuss or complications, real humans, real shops, pleasurable shopping, excellent hi fi.
