I've complained about this company before as they totally ignore you when you email back in if there's a problem and to the correct customer service email address!

Since then I've had two items delivered of my five items and one doesn't work and the other second hand or at least previously opened!!. God only knows where the other three are because as normal customer services ignore all emails.

The company is so unreliable previously with the shopping trolleys all the items should go or wouldn't be available for delivery and customer service were awful. This is still the same customer Services totally ignore you. It's a shambles discounts don't work and the products that are in the sale looks secondhand as one expensive power bank. I bought the boxes previously been opened!

I threw this company and I'd be aware with them as offers aren't honoured, often items aren't available after you spent ages adding them to your shopping chart and it seems they resell returned items and then ignore your emails. Be aware.!

I placed an order and was advised to say I’d get an email when goods were in store
Never got email so sent email last Wednesday to ask where goods were got a reply yesterday asking how youse had performed
Went into store today Monday to find out what’s going on only to find goods had been sent back
I’m awaiting refund which I was advised takes 2 days so hurry up and refund me and check your system as something isn’t working

Today I was served by the lovely Megan, who always greats me with a lovely smile and a hello, you back again(oop's), all the staff here are very friendly and always on hand to help
Sadly the Plymouth store's fishing tackle is reduced so much now and not selling maggots anymore

Waiting on membership card and keep getting messages to buy this buy that don’t know if I can buy without card

We visited the Wakefield shop to buy items for our daughter's upcoming Duke of Edinburgh trip. We were assisted by a guy (Sorry I don't know his name) and a lady called Emily who were both fantastic. Emily helped by advising on what clothes we would need, sharing her personal experiences and picking out appropriate items. A great experience thank you.

Purchasing was no problem but I didn’t get a VAT receipt and 3 times now completed forms online asking for one as I need it by tomorrow and still nothing, I then phone up for a message to say for VAT reciepts you must fill the online form in, which I have done and got ignored
It can’t be that hard to given a vat receipt as it was not in the box when I collected the item
I won’t be purchasing anything anymore form them as this is going to cost me money myself now as I can’t claim it back from work as no vat receipt so lost a customer

We visited Go Outdoors in Penrith on Friday 4th September 2026 at 15.21. Wow what a fabulous experience - all staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us. Especially Zara who advised us on Freespirit jackets and their uses, and served us. Nick who sorted our awning pole and Richard who sorted us a trolly and showed us where to go. Very clean and tidy store. A credit to the group - thank you Mr & Mrs Boardman

Excellent guidance and support from John during my recent visit to Go outdoors to buy new walking boots. Its a daunting task with the many styles and price range on offer, in store knowledge of the products is essential for me and that's what John offered.

Great product good value. Staff and Customer service were very supportive when I had an issue with a delay with instore delivery.

Matt helped me a lot, if it wasn’t For His advice I wouldn’t have had the confidence to buy the Walking boots. Very helpful on the sizing, as always I worry with Boots as to whether they’re gonna rub or not. They’ve turned out very well, thank you.

Cher and Ellie helped me in my search for waterproof walking shoes. They were both very cheerful and helpful and did their best to find what I was looking for. I highly recommend this branch of Go Outdoors!

Bit disjointed - bought as gift, 1 size too small, but dismayed to learn you can’t exchange, you have to return and reorder. As that would’ve been £50 more, I looked elsewhere

Josh and jo made the purchase super easy, especially as an item was out of stock.

Did everything they could to get me a sale item and keep the deal worth while.

There was a lad upstairs on camping equipment who gave me some good advice but i didnt catch his name, (dark hair and can tell he has done his fair share of camping).

Will go again for my camping gear

I visited Go Outdoors on Stockton on Tees I am very impressed by the whole set up. I have purchased a tent footprint for my current tent Vango instant classic I think it will just about do the job but in the near future I hope to purchase more items
